Daredevil , Jessica Jones , Luke Cage , and Iron Fist would all be fine if they never get the band back together followingThe Defendersaccording to its showrunner . Netflix and Marvel TV have successfully pulled off the tv combining weight to what Marvel Studios did in 2012 withThe Avengers . Netflix ’s Phase 1 was all leading to an eventual squad up between the four heroes of New York City ’s streets , and they somehow do to follow away the victors . Despite having an US Army against them , the four stranger quickly take form a relationship to bring through their city .
After going through such an experience , it would be well-to-do to read why they would want to cleave together . They ’ve proven they ’re impregnable and more formidable together than asunder , even if sacrifice were made along the manner . Well , the showrunner of the series does n’t think this result has formed a confining , lifelong partnership between all of them .

Are they a certified team all of a sudden or will they go back to being alien ? Ramirez tends to think it is somewhere in the middle , but definitely not close enough to need to do it again .
I think of them mostly as like the great unwashed who were on the same bus when it mystify in an accident , and then they all filled out paperwork together , and they all went to the infirmary together , and now they ’re going home . And it ’s kind of like , “ This was a great dangerous undertaking to have with you , I ’d be okay with seeing you again , I ’d also be okay with never seeing you again . ” It ’s more like a shackle that befall in a crisis . the great unwashed are versed now , but it ’s not like you ’ll be inviting them over for dinner every Tuesday . [ Laughs ] We plan it so they could go back to their individual worlds , but it ’s not like they ’re aside permanently in any way .

While fans of these characters would undoubtedly love to see all four of them together all the time , this allows them to go along their own fib separately . If they were a full - time squad , they would postulate much larger threats to face than corporate fraud or Kingpin ( should he ever regress ) , but they now can each take on smaller challenges singly that still are formidable in their own rights .

Plus , with Netflix filming multiple shows at once now , it would be easier on scheduling for Jessica to appear inLuke Cagefor a short arc .
All this is to say , they may not be ripe friends correctly away , but they ’ll sure as shooting havesomeinteractions in the time to come . Not to name , shouldDefendersprove to be a ratings goliath , Netflix will do everything in its major power to get a second time of year . So whether it is pocket-size , case-by-case crossing or another full on team - up , sports fan should expect something else in future seasons .
