Vidotto Was In The Dark About Cam’s Fate When She Read FBI: International’s Fall Finale Script
“I was shocked. They didn’t tell me and I didn’t ask them, which I probably should have.”
When you got the script for the fall stopping point , were you told that Vo was going to come through ?
Vinessa Vidotto : No , I was shocked . They did n’t order me and I did n’t ask them , which I probably should have . [ Laughs ] Sometimes I ask the writers when they number out here for their installment for a week or so , I ’m like , " Okay , so what are you guy wire doing next ? " And then sometimes I do n’t , and when I escape that gap , thing like this chance .
Did you get the next script immediately after ?

Vinessa Vidotto : Yes , and I have n’t read it for reasons where I want to go through it as an consultation member because I experience something like in Episode 8 when I do get shot and my team is outside of the infirmary when I ’ve been wrap in , and I did n’t bed their reaction . I did n’t go watch playback . I did n’t know what they were doing .
So when it come out , and I see that it affected me , I was truly hit , especially by Wes ' reaction . I was like , " Ooh , I like this . " And I was like , " Okay , so I ’m not in 9 . Let me not register it . " I want to see it from a different view because I was affected otherwise when I did n’t watch their performance on the twenty-four hours . I think perhaps somebody told me that I would be okay or something . All is well . I am alert .
With that being say , were there any negotiation of you showing up at the death of the winter premiere ?
FBI: International follows the elite agents of the FBI’s International Fly Team as they travel globally to protect Americans. The series focuses on their complex missions, navigating international law, and challenges posed by various jurisdictions, demonstrating the high-stakes nature of their work.
Vinessa Vidotto : No , that was a surprisal . I did n’t need . I did n’t know until I read the book . There was no talk .
Cam May Have Pushed Csonka Too Far In FBI: International Season 4
“I think with my tactics, he had to push back, and I put a target on my own back.”
Do you think Csonka targeted Cam specifically or was he just try on to go after anyone on Wes ’ team ?
Vinessa Vidotto : That ’s an interesting query . Oh , I love this question . It ’s making me think . In that interrogation , I think I pushed him too far . If you labor a bear in a corner , they ’re going to threaten you . They ’re going to do something . I recall with my maneuver , he had to push back , and I put a target on my own back .
But also , I ’m mean that he wants to get back at Wes with anybody who is close to him . You had the run go down , and Booth was fetch on the outdoor stage . Mike Brooks was killed , and Wes had trained me at West Point back in the day . It could be either or . Either I could have stimulate him , or Csonka ’s really smart and care to hit close to dwelling house .
How do you think Csonka go after Cam affected Wes otherwise than if it had been someone else on the team ?
Vinessa Vidotto : Yeah , I think anybody on the team , it would hit passably heavily . perhaps the difference is it ’s somebody that you trained and was hoping that they would have a recollective life history and make it through that career without recede their life . That might ’ve probably touch on him very differently .
When you have a bond and a human relationship with somebody , peculiarly if you ’ve train them to become the best to avoid these situations and something like that has happened , he maybe takes some of that inculpation on himself , but who knows ? I do n’t require to speak for him . [ Laughs ]
Vo Feels A Responsibility To Look Out For The Fly Team, Says Vidotto
“It’s cool to see a strong woman stand her ground and question when things are a little suspicious.”
So much of that story has been card . We know that Wes was tough on her , but were you differentiate any specifics about their time training together or have you been take in the blanks for yourself ?
Vinessa Vidotto : No , I have n’t had any details yet . Just away from the superior general that he was my training agentive role and yeah , we encounter heads , but we ’re okay now , but no in - astuteness backstory .
Since they initially bumped heads , what changed ? Do you think it ’s because Vo has become a full - flight agentive role and take what he was trying to teach her ?
Vinessa Vidotto : Yeah , it could just also be different communication styles and age difference in term of maybe people who train at West Point or come into these positions who are overbold and equal to and maybe have some anger to countenance out . [ Laughs ] I think it ’s just communicating style , personality , man versus woman . Vo can be a impudent aleck , and she has her own opinions and can put up her priming coat even if they ’re wrong , but at least she has a personality . That ’s what I like .
What are Cam ’s thoughts on Booth and his impermanent smear on the squad ? She ’s been filled in about his history with Wes .
Vinessa Vidotto : Yeah , definitely get to accept and trust Wes ' conclusion . There has to be deference there . But also , depend , Wes is raw to the Fly Team , so this is Vo ’s team in a way . She ’s been there from the beginning and worked her way up , and I find like she has a sense of duty and responsibility to look out for the team as well , even though she ’s not the loss leader , but she ’s learned a luck .
It ’s cool to see a solid char stomach her ground and interrogation when things are a little suspicious . And I also love seeing two inviolable , capable , bright people disagree or call each other out . I think that adds for great drama , but it ’s also just real . You ca n’t just nod your head and concord to everything from one drawing card .
You have to have questions and your own thoughts and things . What I guess she ’s seek to do this season is understand Wes more . She ’s trying to suss out why Booth does things the way he does or their history , but I do n’t think she ’s trying to aggravate him or jabbing . She just wants to assure the good route for everybody .
Vidotto Weighs In On A Potential Cam & Wes Romance In FBI: International
“That would be interesting. Anything is possible with co-workers and whatnot.”
Wes and Cam did match on a dating app , and fan have been picking up on their chemistry . He ’s her ranking , but is a love story between them something you cerebrate is potential or would want to encounter ?
Vinessa Vidotto : I do n’t know . TV is telly and writers have their crazy , bold , big ideas . [ Laughs ] Which is amazing and what urinate the show . But I do n’t live . That would be interesting . Anything is potential with co - workers and nicknack . Yeah , he was my training agent , but I think maybe just more of a friendship vibration . But who screw ?
Since Cam survives , is there anything you’re able to tease about what ’s next for her , both physically and mentally , after going through something this vivid ?
Vinessa Vidotto : I think that there is a time start , and she ’s still healing from it physically . Mentally , I do n’t recollect we go in - depth with that . I just think being on the Fly Team , you have to have a very strong resilience towards these thing . You sign up knowing that you could potentially turn a loss your life-time or lose a arm or whatever . Raines came very closely to that at the end of season 2 when the hub was blown up , and he almost lost his leg .
You have to be able to handle that and move on . And I think after seeing Kellett get shot in time of year 1 , Smitty in season 2 , and Raines almost give out in time of year 3 — I think when you go through these experience , and you see your fellow colleague almost die , but come out on the other side very substantial , you go , " Okay , that ’s how I handle it . " Ca n’t consist on it .
Is there another episode this season you ’re looking forward to in terms of Cam ’s plot line ?
Vinessa Vidotto : We have n’t take one yet that ’s heavy on Cam . perchance she needs a break . [ Laughs ] Maybe she ’s dealing with the genial blowback from stimulate dash . So I do n’t think anytime before long .
