Every Version of the Defenders Has One Similar Trait
There have been different incarnation of the Defenders throughout Marvel history . The first and most famous was the “ non - team”brought together by Doctor Strangein the early seventies . While Netflix ’s Defenders had a far different line - up than Strange ’s team , it kept the non - team vibration of the original going . Like every other superhero team , Netflix ’s Defenders came together to stop a common terror , but they did not stay together after , as if the squad - up was only a matter of convenience .
