With the dawn of the Marvel Cinematic Universe , a gripping new conception was born in the macrocosm of smash hit filmmaking . But Marvel were n’t content to keep their fresh idea strictly in the realm of motion-picture show . Like theStar Warsuniverse , the Marvel world put out beyond the big screen and onto TV . Despite the proposed connection between the films and shows , however , the unity has n’t always been mat up by buff .
Even coiffe aside the logistics of match up a picture with a TV show , Marvel ’s work with Netflix on another corner of their universe has left fans wondering why the various Defenders ca n’t have a right crossover with ABC’sS.H.I.E.L.D. Though each have featured nods to the other , audiences are still concerned in seeing Coulson team - up with Iron Fist , Quake throw down with Luke Cage , and May and Jessica Jones enter into a star contest . While we ’ll still have to wait for any of those potentially thrilling meet - ups , fans now at last have a opportunity to see some of the heroes join forces .
