The Defendersaren’t lucky enough to have hi - tech transportation , which means sometimes get out and arriving to a fighting in less style , such as an elevator . The eventual formation of a Hell ’s Kitchen found super team has been in the works since their partnership became official back in 2013 . Since that point they ’ve introduced four heroes in their respective solo series , but Jessica Jones ( Krysten Ritter ) , Iron Fist ( Finn Jones ) , Daredevil ( Charlie Cox ) , and Luke Cage ( Mike Colter ) will ultimately span course by and by this year .
It ’s been a foresighted time coming and fans concerned in devouring all their shows have by now sat through 60 episodes , all of which have been leading to the eight episode miniskirt - serial . The Defendersis now the next show up for Marvel and Netflix and after kicking off the marketing movement a few week ago , a new team photo has the heroes together in an elevator .

The elevator was first used toannounce the release dateof the serial , with Jessica punching out the security measure photographic camera inside . Since then , what follows this elevator drive has continued to be shown . Thefirst trailerspends a good amount of sentence focusing on the team ’s battle with ninjas and Elektra in a hall . They are all in the same dress as shew here , with Matt ’s usage of Jessica ’s scarf joint being one of the clearest indicator . It is undecipherable how rapidly this sequence will happen or if its their first true prison term working as a squad , but they ’re definitely ready for a fight .
While the trailer read Elektra as being one of the enemies they ’ll face in this chronological succession , it is also plausible that Sigourney Weaver ’s Alexandra will be in this construction as well . They ’ve yet to show any wind towards Alexandra getting her bridge player dirty , which could be whereMadame Gao could come up into play . How the newly form squad is able to break off the former menace to Hell ’s Kitchen stay to be seen , but they will undoubtedly have their hand full . If thing get too testy , it could launch the door for Stick , Claire Temple , Trish Walker , and/or Misty Knight to link up this fight as well . But for now , these are the only four Defenders Hell ’s Kitchen has , so they better not fail .
