The Defenders
While much ofThe Defenderswill focal point on the show ’s four marrow wedge , at least one view will feature the entire extended cast . Just like with the firstAvengers , Marvel and Netflix’sThe Defenderswill function like a comic Christian Bible outcome by pulling together unlike heroes and worlds . Part of this will involve the four solo vigilantes of New York joining force , but it will also include enemies likea whole - novel Elektraand themysterious Hand drawing card Alexandra , and it just my hint at a meeting between Colleen Wing and Misty Knight .
Just as weaving together the arc of the four previous display will connect each series ' main character , much of the supporting casts will be present forThe Defenders . With the Punisher the only remarkable reference sitting out , just about everyone we ’ve fit so far from Colleen Wing to Madame Gao to Foggy Nelson will be coming to the show . And while theSDCC trailerfor the series exhibit us plenty of action mechanism need the four main heroes , an even bigger group view will seem .
CBRwas on hand during SDCC to hear what Jessica Henwick had to say aboutThe Defenders . Most interestingly , she break that at least one scene in the show would involve the entire stamp in the same scope .
“ I ’m energize just for fans to see characters interact that have never interact before ! I ’m not even just talking about the four leads . I ’m also talking about ensemble cast , which — most of them have been announced , I think . There ’s a scene which has all of us — the whole cast in the same elbow room — and that was crazy , and a lot of merriment . So that ’s what I ’m stir for multitude to see , and it ’s sort of towards the end of the show , I ’d say . ”

While a final competitiveness seems obvious , it does n’t make much sense for characters like Karen and Malcolm to hang around during a bash . It could be that the various friends and family of the heroes are kidnapped , or perhaps they all just show up for moral support .
Of course , with the characters from each show confluence for the first time , a figure of comic book moments will be bring to living . Luke and Danny will have asurprising first confrontation , but fans of Colleen and Misty Knight will also be happy .
“ I did just say there ’s a aspect which has all of us in the same room , so it is potential that Colleen and Misty may approach one another and start talking to each other . I know the fans require it . It was really part of the reason why I loved Colleen when I started explore the use and I saw Daughters of the Dragon and what that was , it ’s unlike anything that ’s on TV . It ’s unlike anything I ’ve seen , as far as I know . Yes . I think sports fan will be felicitous . ”
WithMisty joining season 2 ofIron Fist , the seeds are being sown for a Daughters of the Dragon spinoff . In the meantime , The Defenderswill likely give us a gustatory modality of Misty and Colleen joining forces . And with the show a little more than two weeks off , fans wo n’t have to wait much longer .
