On the surface , You’re Nextlooks like a cliche horror cinema , but it has a lilliputian more to it . 10.The Loved Ones

Australia is more known for their doer rather than their actual pic industriousness ( thanks again for Hugh Jackman ) . However , there are some secret diamonds in the rough . The Loved Onesis a moving-picture show that may seem rather disgusting at times , but you ca n’t avail being fascinated by its lead baddie . Lola ( Robin McLeavy ) is a quiet girl who just wants to take her puppy love , Brent ( Xavier Samuel ) to the promenade . However , Brent already has a girl and politely rejects her offer . Unfortunately , Lola does n’t take rejection too well and has her father snatch him for her own extra prom .

Soon we see that the introverted Lola is actually a psychopath who , with the help of her Father of the Church , lobotomize teenage boys and keep them in their basement . We do n’t have many distaff villains in film so it was gripping and kind of disgusting to watch Lola at oeuvre . Watching her father casually teach her how to drill gob into boys ’ heading showed their funny ( and incestuous ) family relationship . Although she ’s a sequent killer , she still has that “ Daddy ’s small girl ” personality to her , even though her father is clearly wind around her finger .
