While not everything that was produce for Netflix was gross gold , there was a lot of bully television and several great characters . alas , 2017’sThe Defenderskind of pulled the carpeting out from under all of the workplace they put in building up to it . A with child problem was the number of incredible supporting characters who did not get the screen meter they deserved . The producers should have take away about 90 % of Iron Fist ’s time and distribute it out among them .
Colleen Wing
The first season ofIron Fiston Netflix was borderline unbearable to watch at times . Casting someone who knew as footling about martial arts as Finn Jones was a huge mistake . But one of the bright spots of the serial was Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing . This part appear much better versed in martial arts than Danny Rand , making you frequently enquire why she did n’t have the Iron Fist . Wing got decent screen meter inThe Defendersbut in spades deserved more as she did n’t find like a full fledged extremity of the squad .

Trish Walker
Much like Misty , Trish did n’t pick up her power until the seasons ofJessica Jonesthat come afterThe Defenders . If she had become them before , she in all likelihood would have see a lot more time in the serial .
As Jessica ’s good booster and frequent partner in criminal offense , Trish had a unique perspective on the super hoagie shenanigans run on in New York . unluckily , she ’s took a backseat to other character throughoutThe defender . Hellcat could have been extremely helpful in the fight against The Hand .
Turk Barrett
A surprising as this will be to some , Turk Barrett plays a role of some grandness in the comical books . His terrible criminal design frequently get broken up by Daredevil , usually as comic relief from more serious things happening around New York . The Marvel / Netflix version of him might be a number more gritty , but he ’s no less inept at being a felon as bothDaredeviland Luke Cage have bust him . Turk was consistently a great side persona that could have been used much better inThe Defenders , peculiarly as an ongoing source of info .
Claire Temple
Rosario Dawson ’s character quickly became the glue holding the Marvel / Netflix world together . While season one happened afterThe Defenders , Frank had already been introduced by the meter that team up bechance . He was intimate with both Daredevil and Elektra , and had experience fighting The Hand . At that point , he was better suit for The Defenders than Jessica Jones , Iron Fist and Luke Cage were .
