The Defenders
Netflix ’s Marvel serial were a massive success overall . They introduced a mountain chain of major character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and were responsible for for some of the greatest episode of superhero television . They were also at the forefront of the cost increase of comic book movie TV display .
However , the Netflix shows unquestionably did n’t get everything right . Due to the writing , performances or just the way in which the characters were understand by the hearing , there were many despised supporting characters across the multiple shows . We ’ve heel 10 of them !
GRIFFIN SINCLAIR
Griffin was an fabulously small lineament throughout the second time of year ofJessica Jones . The boyfriend to Trish Walker was really annoying , with a few nefarious performance choices that made everyone imagine he was part of a with child evil game .
turn out he just wants to nominate to his girlfriend , who then fleetly dumps him . Everything about the character was devil and we forgot that he even existed on the show . He disappears so suddenly that fan are probably assuage they do n’t have to keep watching him .
TRISH WALKER
In season 1 ofJessica Jones , which many weigh to be one of thebest seriesout of all of the Marvel Netflix mental object , Trish Walker was actually quite an interesting character . lover were aroused to see her shift into the torpedo Hellcat .
However , the quality take a turn in season 2 , fundamentally becoming a drug addict and eventually gaining her powers through less than expansive means . Although she wants to struggle law-breaking , her choices made her significantly less sympathetic , with the character becoming problematic .
FOGGY NELSON
Foggy Nelson is a classic supporting character from the comics and has always been impersonate in an solemn way . That has n’t stopped him from becoming , it ’s fair to say , one of the most hated support characters of the full Marvel Cinematic Universe .
The character always wants to be involve with everything that ’s happen , even trying to run for district lawyer just to get back at Wilson Fisk . Perhaps he ’s been overused or is a slight scrap too over the top in his dramatic acting , but Foggy Nelson is definitely unlikable .
WILLIS STRYKER
The hatred for Willis Stryker come up in part because the Diamondbackvillainactually supervene upon the much better Cottonmouth . Willis was acquaint as the buddy to Luke Cage and their contention dated back to their childhood .
However , the cheesy and over the top execution , as well as the dreadful costume that he was burden with , meant that viewers promptly lost interest with Stryker , especially as the main resister leading into the finale ofLuke John Milton Cage Jr. . It ’s probably why he was never brought back .
ROBYN AND RUBEN
Robyn and Ruben were neighbors to Jessica Jones and perhaps some of the most annoying fictitious character ever put to screen . The siblings had a utter hate of Jessica Jones and were spiteful , ill-mannered and wholly unlikable . Then catastrophe strike .
Ruben was killed by Killgrave , leaving only Robyn . This horrible news report should have left Robyn as a much more sympathetic fibre , but sadly it did not . She was so dislikable still that she actually did n’t pass to the series again and it ’s better off for it .
HAROLD MEACHUM
There ’s a real problem with Harold Meachum as one of the main villains of theIron Fistseries . The character just is n’t threaten enough to pull it off . While he has firm association to Rand ’s past , it ’s not enough to really make him a unattackable enemy to Danny .
The fibre only got bad as he appeared to be cowardly towards the Hand . What was once a minor scoundrel became almost pointless as a fictitious character . At this point , it was almost like he was take up silver screen time from the far more interesting Madame Gao .
JOY AND WARD MEACHUM
Much like their founder , Joy and Ward Meachum are both deeply hated characters . Their presence on the show is never particularly wanted and it ’s clear that they have been added in monastic order to continue the drama on the wealthy side of Danny ’s sprightliness .
However , despite the role never being too villainous or too expert , they just really do n’t bring anything to the table . They are fretful , spoilt and any sibling drama between the two is completely uninteresting . Even Danny does n’t get on with them that well .
BAKUTO
Bakuto was presuppose to be the major link betweenIron Fistand theDefenders . He was the fictitious character to bridge the gap between the two shows and catapult the serial publication into becoming a fight between the script and the hero sandwich of New York .
However , the serial about theman without feardid a much better job of bridge the gap between these two things . Bakuto feel like an reconsideration many times and he was n’t threatening as a villain at all . He was rather forgettable and existed strictly for continuity ’s sake .
SHADES
Shades is pretty motley as a graphic symbol for manyLuke Cagefans . This writer personally feels like he was a groovy addition to the mould , but others out there believe he ’s one of the worst characters on the show , perhaps because his decisions are all over the shoes .
He jumps from loss leader to leader very chop-chop and is a far outcry from the character in the comics , which feels very retro and would not fit into this earth . The romance with Mariah felt a little strained and the way he bonk over his in effect supporter did n’t help his case .
ALEXANDRA
It ’s a shame that the iconic Sigourney Weaver was n’t sacrifice a better character to work with when she finally recruit the Marvel Cinematic Universe . As the leader of the Hand , you ’d think she would have some jolly good material to work with .
Alas , the character was very one dimensional and the deficiency of sieve time significantly smart her . lover were left very disappointed with what they were founder , coming to detest Alexandra , perhaps not because of what she was , but what she was n’t and could have been in the serial .
