If I lose my job because of this consultation , distressing ! I was supposed to be onThe Defenders , until I got send away . ”
In the Marvel comics creation , Misty starts off life as a New York City law officer before she is offend in the melodic phrase of duty and loses her right-hand subdivision . And given that the character played a role in the famed “ Shadowland ” storyline , it increases the likeliness that ourrecent guessthat this discharge will be used as the base forDefendersis right on the money .
Then again , given her support fictional character ship’s company of Foggy and Malcolm , it ’s also very potential that her intimacy will amount to nothing more than what Pepper Potts ’s ( Gwyneth Paltrow ) character inThe Avengerswas – which is to say , rich in shared - creation eubstance and continuity , but little in actual plot or character exploitation . Maybe , in fact , this analogy is more apt than what it seems to be on first blush : Perhaps Luke and Misty commence their romance during the events ofLuke Cage , and she attend to as nothing more than motive for him to unite up with the other Defenders , just as Pepper did for Iron Man in the blockbuster film .
