WithIron Fistbeing the final puzzle part ( debut on March 17 , 2017),The Defendersis poised to sweep in as Marvel ’s next great onscreen tops squad and the apogee of everything the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building towards . This is a street - stage squad of heroes made up ( in the television embodiment ) ofDaredevil , Jessica Jones , Luke Cageand Iron Fist - all of whom will have starred ( or will shortly star ) in their own eponymous series .
Production onDefendersis well under room and exposure have been come off the stage set for a while , but we are now getting some prescribed promo images - include accompanying behind - the - scenes snapshots , likeFinn Jones ' Danny Rand pet a dog ! Perhaps the most memorable of all the shot are two featuringCharlie Cox(Daredevil ) , andMike Colter(Luke Cage ) , riding around set on a ice yacht .

TheseThe Defendersphotos also affirm that Luke Cage ’s storyline will nibble up now where it left off with Luke in prison ; that Jessica is still hitting the street as an researcher ; that Danny is on his own in New York City ; and that Matt Murdock is now more solitary than ever , once again , where he was left at the end ofDaredevilseason 2 .
