Supernaturalis far and away one of my favourite shows of all clip , but there is one glaring take that pops up in the first installment that I struggle to get my head around . Despite this , the brothers compliment each other , but perhaps thebiggest mystery was howSupernaturalgot Sam to strike down everythingand only dive back into hunting .
Supernatural changed a lot over its 15 seasons . While the show stay incredibly popular , return to season 1 reveals some harsh truths .

Supernatural Season 1 Makes It Way Too Easy For Sam To Become A Hunter Again
Sam Immediately Forgets About Years Of Development Away From His Brother
The affair is , it is n’t that Sam simply does n’t like hunting , he actively wants to build a life-time and life history outside of hunting . Sam desire to live the pipe dream , with a wife , kids , and a normal existence . Being a huntsman is the furthest matter from normal , considering his whole life is spent chasing monsters and killing demons , sleeping in motel , and putting your life in danger constantly . Despite Sam knowing the risks , he dives back into huntingwith almost no disinclination in the first episode , and when he finds his girl killed , he never expect back .
Sam belike had friends at college , beyond his girlfriend . In addition , it ’s never explained how far into his degree he was , if he had some other part - time business , and if his lady friend ’s death was investigated . Instead , the show employ his old life as context , and rapidly drops the entire subplot in favor of moving into the monster of the hebdomad format . But this justdoesn’t make sensation for the character , and address it could have add to the tale overall and made the boy even more likable in my opinion .
