Detective Danny Reagan ( Donnie Wahlberg ) may be the adept ofBlue Bloods , but that does n’t mean he does n’t have his fair portion of problem , and his family relationship with Linda ( Amy Carlson ) over the season has always bother me . Look , Donnie Wahlberg is excellent as Danny Reagan . He ’s still one of thebest character onBlue Bloods , but like any good " grizzly " character in a law procedural , Danny ’s got his issue . Considering how much of a jerk he can come off as , I ’m not always rooting for him to acquire when the stakes are scummy .
Shootout on the streets of New York ? Yes , please make it , Danny . Always be in the right field while doing virtuously doubtful things ? Come on , but it is still a goggle box show , so I ’ll give him the benefit of the doubt . Be morally doubtful , then get to be all self - righteous about it and also get the girl ? Give me a breakage . We as the hearing are stuck with Danny for better or bad , and admittedly , many ofthe good episodes ofBlue Bloodsfocus on Danny . But that does n’t mean I think he deserve a unexampled romance in time of year 14 .

Blue Bloodsseason 14 , part 2 , is officially the last seasonof the show and some sections of the fanbase desire Danny to finally find dead on target passion . honestly , I do n’t know if he deserves it . He may have receive a little more sympathetic after Linda ’s demise , but he ’s still the same man he was before . I’m go to need to see some major fibre ontogeny from Dannybefore I experience well-off assure him with another woman . If Danny end up with a raw collaborator and is just as inconsiderate towards her as he was to Linda , then there ’s no point .
Danny Could Redeem Himself Through His Partnership With Baez
Baez And Danny Have Worked Together For Many Years
There is one person I could come around to Danny dating , and that would be his spouse Maria Baez ( Marisa Ramirez ) . Though nothing romantic has ever happened between the two , they are good friend and fantabulous pardner . Baez has had her fair ploughshare of kinship troubles as well , so perhaps someone different like Danny could be of interest .
