Marvel fan are gear up for one of the most exciting dates in their 2017 calendar , as Netflix unveilThe Defendersthis summer . For the first time , the streaming service and Marvel Entertainment will bring in togetherDaredevil(Charlie Cox),Jessica Jones(Krysten Ritter),Luke Cage(Mike Colter ) andIron Fist(Finn Jones ) in their own miniskirt - series , with the four heroes team up to face their magnanimous threat yet .
Whilst not too much has been revealed about the history ofThe Defenders , more information is now begin to trickle out to fans , and recently Charlie Cox has open up up some more about his own dealings with bringing hisDaredevilcharacter into a whole Modern series .
Speaking toEWaboutThe Defenders , Cox revealed the startling realization he came to when he tried to search the subject:“I really go and purchase an issue . And then when I realized [ Daredevil was n’t in it ] , I went … ‘ Huh’ . ”Fortunately , he was able-bodied to get valuable stirring elsewhere .
“ There are some fantastical moments in the Daredevil serial with Jessica Jones , with Luke Cage , with Iron Fist . I ’ve taken note of the moments in the Daredevil comics where novel case are coming in and sharing panel with Daredevil , and in terms of how Matt might work in a squad - up scenario , I read Civil War . It ’d then be difficult to think the two atop a building sharing a hamburger and fries . We ’ll all just have to waitress and see what the writers have up their arm .
